Although Spring still seems a long ways away, it's time to start thinking about next year's apple crop. If you have a lot of trees to prune, you will want to start now. If you don't, you may want to wait and attend our pruning demonstration. This will be held at 1:00 on March 11, 2012. Bring your questions and pictures if you like, so we can help you with your orchard. There will be personnel from the Garden Center to answer ornamental pruning demonstrations as well. Until then, keep your strawberries covered and your bee hives fed. On warm Winter days, bees may pick up in activity and need the extra nutrition. Hope to see you March 11th!
